The technical project of Epifania involves arranging a multitude of petals lifted from the ground to form a gently moving shape. Despite its heterogeneity, the installation method facilitates the connection of individual parts and creates surfaces suitable for 360-degree projections. Each petal is made from recycled fabrics by Alias Design, and the projections, curated by Studio Azzurro and architect Milesi, showcase the cyclic nature of the environment in a continuous loop.
The technical elements of the project were developed through 3D modeling, which allows for a realistic simulation of the projections, as well as a study of the space occupied by the installation.
An ephemeral cloud composed of petals made from production waste materials arranged around a core that seems to come to life as the day progresses. Suspended near the top of Porta Sant'Alessandro, Bergamo, it hovers in the air, releasing voices, sounds, lights, colors, and images gathered during its wanderings in an increasingly unpredictable world.
